The weather in the DMV area has been all over the place. We got a very hot spring season back in April and chilly early summer in May. Up until Kelsey and Gordon's wedding, it has been raining and chilly for the whole week! Fortunately, we were so blessed that the forecast was changed the last minute from rainy to cloudy, to partly cloudy, and then to sunny, all within several hours! And because of that, we were able to capture many beautiful and intimate moments of Kelsey and Gordon at the Country Club of Fairfax!
Kelsey and Gordon's wedding was filled with love and laughter, along with many details that are beautiful and precious. From floral design of Stem & Thistle, to the beautiful wood signage by The Blue Haystack, Marquee Letters from Brightly Ever After, escort cards (they are pinwheels made by Kelsey herself!!) and the donuts wall, every element of their wedding day was a joy to experience and enjoy! You could feel and see the sweetness of love that they put into their big day. One of my favorite details was Kelsey's grandmother's brooch on her bouquet, as a way to remember her as she could not be there on Kelsey's wedding day. They also got in the golf cart and drove around the venue, and that was so much fun! In addition, one of their close friends is a band member of The Lone Rangers, and they played all night long to celebrate with them, as their family and friends danced the night away!
Congratulations again Kelsey and Gordon! It was an honor to be part of this beautiful celebration and capturing every moment of your love for each other!
