Jessica & Martin || National Harbor Engagement Session

What better location for the engagement session than the place where he proposed! We went to the National Harbor for Jessica and Martin’s engagement session, as that was the place where Martin popped the question and Jessica said ‘yes’ to their forever. We even stopped by the exact restaurant to reminisce how Martin was nervous throughout the whole time and the staff had to remind him the spot he should be sitting!

How did it all started? Jessica recalled:

Martin and I actually met through work almost 7 years ago. His coworker actually invited my coworker out for a drink and it ended up being a double date so they wouldn’t go alone and instead him and I hit it off and here we are 6 years later getting ready to get married.

After 6 years of dating and never really doing the cliche Valentines Day dinner to avoid the crowds, Martin let me know a couple days before Valentine’s Day that we would be going to dinner that night! I was actually very excited to go out and have a nice dinner with my love since sometimes our busy lives can get in the way. He took me to a nice restaurant right on the water in National Harbor where we had a perfect view of the capital wheel. It’s one of our favorite places to go and have great food and a great view. Right there at dinner he got on one knee and asked me to marry him! Martin is not one for attention and making a scene so this completely surprised me and made me feel extremely special. After the proposal I found out his close friend had been sitting with his girlfriend on their own Valentine’s Day date close by waiting on his cue so he could take pictures and video of the entire thing. I also found out there were many other people involved and I couldn’t believe I didn’t catch on at all! It was such a unforgettable Valentine’s Day dinner that’s for sure!

Jessica and Martin, you guys have the best chemistry and an absolute dream to work with! I can’t wait for your wedding day to come next June!
