I'm not a morning person, but if I have to get up early for an engagement in DC, I would say yes on any day! When Catherine and Roy told me they would like a sunrise engagement session, I was over the moon and actually could not wait for the day to come!

Catherine and Roy met purely by fate, as one of them was from California while the other was from Texas and they met in the city of District of Columbia. Though the real story of how they met is still a debate (hehe!), it is undeniable that they are absolutely in love with each other! What seems to be the most unlikely pair turned out to be the perfect couple!

We started our session at the iconic Library of Congress, and the lighting was absolutely magical! Catherine wore a stunning yellow summer dress, while Roy came in a handsome navy suit. Everything was fitting for a romantic summer engagement session! From the marble staircase and steel light posts, this place was perfect to be the backdrop for their engagement session. We then stopped by the beautiful Meridian Hill Park to stroll around. The stone staircase and the luscious canopy from the trees made a stunning backdrop once again! I just can't get enough of this park and DC in general! They danced and giggled, but in the stillness of the moment, they shared a loving gaze and warm embrace. Their chemistry gave me all the heart eyes!
