When life gives you lemons, you make something beautiful and delicious out of them! I dreamed up this inspiration in the midst of last winter finding myself longing for the summer to come, and truth be told, I’m always a summer person anyways. What surprised me was how much thoughts and detail go into designing an inspiration shoot, let alone a whole wedding! It gave me a new respect for all the wedding planners out there! Besides the logistics side of things, I want this inspiration to have depth and meaning, so I’ve given a little story behind it and putting meaning to each element of the inspiration. To be quite honest, it was definitely a creative stretch for my brain since I’m more of a left-brain person, but it made me fall in love all together with my work once again because of how much of my thoughts, reflections, and imaginations go into this. So here it is!

Imagine yourself in Italy during the summertime, and the fragrance of lemons is around every corner you go. The setting of this love story at a lemon farm, where the couple have known each other since little being neighbors. There’s a greenhouse of which they would play together inside when they were just kids. Now that they are getting married, the bride brainstorms what she wants for her wedding here once again, thinking of what truly represents them as a couple and imagines herself and her beloved on their wedding day. Lemons have the scent of their love; the greenhouse is the space of their memories; poppy is her favorite flowers, and cake and lemon bars are their favorite sweets! There’s nothing else she needs other than these!
