Nikki & Byung || Baltimore Branch No. 3 Wedding Reception
Their official wedding was back in early April, which was photographed by Ann of Anny Photography. When Ann recommended me to capture Nikki and Byung's short wedding reception for their friends who couldn't attend their wedding, I could not be more excited!
I've actually met Pastor B (that's how most people would call him) back when I was in college. He would come occasionally to speak at the campus ministry that I was involved in and he also came to speak at my church's retreat couple years ago. Byung is truly a man who fears the Lord - a man who lives and preaches the Gospel. When I first heard about his engagement, I was so excited him! When I got to meet Nikki back in March, I knew that this was indeed a match made in heaven. Nikki can easily put a smile on Byung's face, and Byung just can't keep his eyes off of her!
It was a record high that Saturday in April, where it felt more like summer than spring. Nikki and Byung got ready at the newly renovated Branch No. 3 run by Church & Company in the heart of Federal Hill. We ventured around the neighborhood before the reception began, taking pictures around the city streetscape. I just love it when they are with each other, they can't stop smiling at each other!
The reception was simple and intimate, heartwarming and filled with laughter the whole time. From the first dance to the speeches, the atmosphere was filled with emotion and joy. As a professional Jazz singer, Nikki also sang and dedicated a song to her husband!
Congratulations, Nikki and Byung! We enjoyed every part of the wedding reception. Thank you so much for letting us to be part of it!
